...this would be obvious, but OH no.

Not so subtle jab at the wannabes who fav random art off the "new art" page without even looking at them... just for the pageviews when that artist comes to their page to thank them for the fav.

I consider that practice cheap and shallow, and offenders of this should be smacked. Stop abusing the favorite system for the pageviews!

Fav art because you LIKE it!!

Edit: Thank you guys for all the faves and wonderful comments, I'm glad this strikes a chord with more then just me. :heart: all of you. :D

This is one of those things where I wouldn't have thought of doing (And never will) but...what has this site come to? In the past month or so there has been so much shit going around that I'm so angry on the inside.

while it may be kinda cheap, I add artists whose work I like to my watch list, I feel it's simpler, and, pretty much pain free.

have I fav'd art? yes, however, I reserve favorites for the incredibly rare and hard to find art.

fanfiction, I book mark, click and go(I fear what may befall me now............dont shoot me, please!)

you know, if i had the cash, i would form my own art site, without certian rules, but enfore the proper ones, and have a ability when an admin veiws the work and deems it sutible, sure if the site gets as large as DA (if it even exists) mor epeople might be needed and what-not, but still, then certian 'fan-arts' *coughnarutopairingscough* whould be kept under control :D
just my two pennies (or cents, which ever sounds better)

And you have no idea how tempted I am to use this... but I fear I would anger quite a few deviants rather than make them laugh, for I do not even use favourites. :laughing:
