A fan is someone who enjoys a fandom. Fans often make art of the series they like, they talk about it, they sometimes write fiction of it... they share it with others and try to promote the series as best they can.

A fan-tard is someone who OBSESSES over a fandom. Fan-tards try to shove their fandom down your throat. They obsess over the fandom until normal fans lose interest, just to get away from the repetitive droning of the fan-tards.

I will say it again: every time I see a new Twilight/NaruSasu/SoraRiku/ChiefxCortana/whatever the fangirl bullshit flavor of the month is story on the popular page, it makes me simultaneously feel like a shitty writer and want to become an hero.
